MISSION

Our mission is to improve communication between the residents of University Hills and the City Administration, and to coordinate the efforts of various neighborhood groups. We are dedicated to preserving and enhancing the quality, character, safety & unity of our neighborhoods.

PURPOSE

Our purpose was established in order to improve communication between the citizens of the city and the city administration. This site serves as a vital tool in keeping city officials informed of the concerns of the neighborhoods and distributing important city information throughout the neighborhoods. By utilizing the councils input, this site and concerned neighbors can improve the quality of life for all citizens. Residents are encouraged to contact LA32 and University Hills Neighborhood Association members regarding issues such as: beautification projects, zoning changes and violations, and establishing neighborhood watch programs. In conjunction with the Neighborhood Association Chairpersons, the Los Angeles Police Department has assigned Police Area Representatives (P.A.R.) to each area. The main purpose of the network of neighbors is to identify concerns and implement solutions utilizing the resources and support of the Safe Neighborhood Team, as well as city and community resources.
